 An inspirational story about a small town with a mighty presence.

Have you ever heard the story of a brave slave named Abraham Losford who escaped from Kentucky?  How about George Jewett an athlete who broke through barriers 50 years before Jackie Robinson? Maybe LuLu Childers a Vanguard in American music who likely inspired MLK in his speech from the Lincoln Memorial?   Did you know that all three have connections to this Small Town in Michigan.   EXIT 137 is a documentary that will bring to light these incredible icons and their impacts on the Howell Community.  The Directors education cut is called Small Towns and is geared towards the classroom with prepared lesson plans. This will be shared free to schools and universities across Michigan and beyond to educate and inspire others.
